Delivery Policy

  1. Goods shall only be delivered when there is complete payment for the item/s
  2. Delivery schedule shall be within 48 hours after purchase, any other arrangement will attract a fee. 
  3. All deliveries within Nairobi area are free for any total purchase per order exceeding KES.100,000.00. Else, a flat fee of KES.5,000.00 is applicable for deliveries on total orders under KES.100,000.00. As for all deliveries outside Nairobi area, additional fees are added (Check Rate card is available at the customer service desk)
  4. Immediate delivery shall attract a fee of 5000 if delivery is within Nairobi and its environs.
  5. Upon confirmation of the delivery date, we will contact you the day before delivery with an assigned 3–4-hour time window. Delivery is all day from 8 AM to 6 PM or subject to customers preference.
  6. Delivery time frames may vary based on item selected. 
  7. You our client or another person (age 18 and above) must be present to sign for the delivery. Our carriers cannot leave furniture unattended.
  8. The area must be free and clear for the technicians to bring in the new items. 
  9. Old furniture must be removed as we do not cart it away or move it.
  10. Please make sure your building does not have any special delivery restrictions. If they do we need to know about them prior to scheduling the home delivery. (i.e. Certificate of Insurance, service elevator, etc.) 
  11. Please inspect your packages prior to signing for the delivery. If you notice apparent damage to the packaging, note the damage on the carrier’s delivery sheet.
  12. Our delivery technicians will assemble all furniture if needed.
  13. Our delivery standards when assembling includes:
    1. Removing and replacing doors in your home with pin hinges to facilitate delivery. Exceptions are screen doors, fire doors, and spring-loaded hinged doors.
    2. Removing your furniture from the carton or package (if necessary).
    3. Assembling all furniture, including tables, lamps, wall units, and recliners.
    4. Placing the furniture where you want it.
    5. Environmentally Friendly: After the delivery, installation, and assembly of your new furniture, our delivery team will remove all packaging materials for recycling.
  14. If no one is home for the delivery, a re-delivery fee will be applied to your order
  15. If you need to re-schedule your delivery, once you select a date, please do so before 72 hours of the date you select to avoid any fees. 
  16. Once furniture is delivered, there is no return policy or exchange policy. If any delivered furniture has defects, Customer Service will assist in repairs or exchanges.
  17. In the rare occurrence that an item arrives damaged on delivery or is otherwise damaged before your possession, please notify the delivery team immediately/indicate on the delivery note.  
  18. All cancellations, after delivery are subjected to a cancellation fee equal to thirty percent (30%) of the merchandise total plus any applicable delivery fees. 
  19. Where the purchaser requests the merchandise to be left unattended upon delivery, unique furniture will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage or theft that might occur thereafter.
